Text Constructions feature word-shaped sculptural pieces added to the periphery of a central canvas. Clean, masked out painterly lines are juxtaposed with improvised blasts and tangles from a spray gun. The individual words and texts contained in and on the edges of the paintings are extracted from personal memories and signs.
