Estoy muy orgulloso de presentar la primera exposición individual de Wendy White en Latinoamérica y la número cuarenta de su trayectoria internacional.
La muestra explora ese instante suspendido entre la conciencia y el sueño: el momento de transición al despertar, cuando las imágenes oníricas aún permanecen presentes у la realidad todavía no termina de definirse.
El color funciona como un reflejo de este estado transitorio. Los degradados evocan tanto paisajes naturales como paisajes emocionales, construyendo una atmósfera que remite al lenguaje del sueño y la memoria.
La iconografía de la exposición se desarrolla como un sistema de símbolos asociados a distintos estados emocionales. El corazón pixelado hace referencia al mundo digital y a la idea de una vida extra en un videojuego; la nube con gotas de lluvia representa una fuerza generadora de vida; la palmera aparece como simbolo de residencia. En conjunto, estos elementos conforman un universo simbólico que invita al espectador a ingresar en un espacio de ensoñación.

I am very proud to present Wendy White's first solo exhibition in Latin America and the number forty of her international career.
The exhibition explores that moment suspended between consciousness and sleep: the moment of transition upon awakening, when dreamlike images still remain present and reality has not yet been defined.
Color works as a reflection of this transient state. Gradients evoke both natural landscapes and emotional landscapes, building an atmosphere that refers to the language of sleep and memory.
The iconography of the exhibition is developed as a system of symbols associated with different emotional states. The pixelated heart refers to the digital world and the idea of an extra life in a video game; the cloud with raindrops represents a life-generating force; the palm tree appears as a symbol of residence. Together, these elements make up a symbolic universe that invites the viewer to enter a space of reverie.
The works inhabit a hybrid territory between painting and sculpture. Surfaces, volumes and materials are combined to expand the traditional limits of both media, creating objects that exist simultaneously as images and as physical presences in space.
